Welcome to My House

Hello! I’m Amy Baumgartner. Thanks for visiting my Creative House. I’d like to introduce my self.

A Master of Arts in Teaching was the start of my creative adult life. Whether in lesson plans, bulletin boards, or structuring my classroom environment, an artistic accent, a creative kick, or painterly punch of me was added to everything I did. I couldn’t help it!

While raising my 4 kids I began to schedule “me” moments at home developing skills and abilities in several ways. From children’s bedroom wall murals to school carnival photo op booths, from hand painted thank you cards to running/teaching art camps and workshops, from home holiday decorating to selling at holiday bazaars, from taking my love of Christmas Tree decorating to the next level of designing for Saint Alphonsus’ Festival of Trees (a gala to auction Christmas Trees and raise money for their Cancer centers), to throwing in a couple of Children’s book illustration gigs and large scale commissioned watercolors and acrylics for my Dentist’s office and you have me! All of this and more makes for a very creative house. Welcome to my house! BaumgARTner Creative House.
